Support programs

Equal opportunities and promoting young talent are key issues at the Faculty of Social Sciences. The Dean's Office and the respective institutes will be happy to advise you on funding opportunities and questions regarding individual projects. The Dean of Research, Prof. Dr. Diana Rieger, and the Dean of Studies, Prof. Dr. Katrin Ausprug, are also happy to assist applicants.

Deutschlandstipendium

Target Group: Students
Description: The Deuschlandstipendium supports particularly talented and high-achieving students and honors outstanding achievements in their academic studies. The scholarship is funded with 300 euros per month.

Target Group: Female PhDs and students (Master)
Description: Ment15 encourages women specifically to familiarize themselves with the possibilities of an academic career, to make contacts and to form networks.

LMU Mentoring

Target Group: Postdocs
Description: The mentees are supported in particular through discussions with the mentor and a budget for travel, material and auxiliary resources.
